A warm welcome to the most recent addition to our Somerset lending team, North Main Branch Manager and Loan Officer, Marvin Guerrero!

“My passion as a Branch Manager with First & Farmers National Bank is to assist our customers in building better lives for their families through financial education,” stated Guerrero.

Marvin was born and raised in San Bruno, California. His father immigrated from Nicaragua at the age of 12, and so Marvin is proud to be a part of the first generation of his family born here in the United States. At the age of 19, he had an internship with a Youth Ministry at a church in Fairbanks, Alaska, where he met his wife, Angelica—a Somerset native. In 2021, they made the decision to move back closer to family and now enjoy calling Nancy, Kentucky home.

FFNB is pleased to share that Marvin is bilingual and can assist the bank in better serving our Hispanic community within the bank’s five-county reach. Generously giving of his time and talents is a priority for Marvin. He is a member of Kiwanis International, serves on the board of Young Professionals of Lake Cumberland, and coaches 3-4 year-old soccer at SomerSport. He is excited to represent First & Farmers in this year’s Leadership Lake Cumberland program. In their free time, the Guerreros enjoy playing board games, hiking, visiting amusement parks, and building LEGOS with their two daughters, Gabby (4) and Sofia (19 months). In Marvin’s words, “Gabby enjoys building LEGOS with Daddy and Sofia enjoys tearing down LEGOS that Daddy has built.”
