On Thursday, November 16th, a large crowd gathered to celebrate the Grand Opening of our newest location in Russell Springs! For many years, Russell County residents, who bank at our Adair County locations, have asked us to add a location in their own community. This summer, when the perfect location and building presented itself, we knew the time was right to spread our wings and expand into this new market.

“My family has deep roots in this community, so I am very pleased to see First & Farmers planting seeds here, too.” Stacey Popplewell, Russell Springs Branch Manager/Lender said. “I appreciate the warm welcome that we have received and look forward to being a great community partner. A special thank you to Asst. Branch Manager, Tiffany Wilson, and our Universal Bankers, Ashley Blakey and Jessica Kinkade, for working diligently to give the Russell County community the same quality and friendly service that our customers know and expect.”

A special thank you to the Russell County Chamber of Commerce for coordinating our ribbon cutting and to Krusty Butt BBQ food truck for feeding close to 200 people.
